Baugnia Opens up investigation into "Isoma" and "Ashbournton"

Kapitolstadt, Baugnia- The Baugnian minister to the Union of North American Micronations stated the following in the UNAM comission today:

"Pardon me if you will, Excellencies, but I have a few questions and comments, if I may, although it might be too late to get any replies from Isoma.

"My first question is regarding Ashbourton's relations to Isoma, and Ashbournton's membership to the UNAM. Would not the membership of Ashbournton to the UNAN consequently also apply to the commonwealths in the form of the one vote that Isoma gets in the Ashbourntonian parliament? If not, how does Isoma have any ground on which to only be a commonwealth?

"My second question is regarding Isoma's oddly suspicious website. With all due respect, your Highness, your nation's legal voting age is 10 years? But then, just a few lines below that statement, there is another, saying that [i]under the laws of Ashbournton, citizens can be 16 years of age to vote[/i]. What preciously [b]is[/b] the voting age? What exactly is your average age of citizens?

"You also stated that your government is separate in governing from Ashbournton, yet they have a great deal of influence in your parliament. There is also only five new laws on the website, which looks like it has not been updated in some time. There also appears to be a law in act titled the "Annexation Act". Baugnia is not at all familiar with how your government or that of Ashbournton operates, but it appears that Isoma may withdraw from Ashbournton as they please, but this does not seem to be done, though you said "Hopefully Isoma will gain it's independence once more".

"If I may ask just one more question of your majesty, on the behalf of all that the UNAM stands for, and all of its members, What exactly is going on here? It appears that Ashbournton, however truthful they are, could have been trying to gain voting power in the UNAM by creating a fictitious nation, and making it become a member of the UNAM. I am by no means stating that this is what happened, but when the Committee for State Security 'connects the dots', this appears to be likely.

"May I request that a formal investigation be opened up by the UNAM into this issue? I assure you that the United Socialist States of Baugnia is already on this.
