Baugnia Changed its Constitution and Political Organization

Intro:
After many long nights of scribling away at a seemingly endless pile of paperwork to add a single ammendment, or consult a single government department, the entire congress, consisting of the House of Law and Senatorial House of Law, and also the President and Supreme Court, the government decided to recreate the legal system, including governing authorities and the constitution.The new constitution gives the government more leverage when it comes to private corporate entities and properties. Also some branches of government have been changed.

For example, the two congressional houses have been compressed into one, which was renamed the Council of Ministers. Also the National Intelligence Agency was remade into the Comittee for State Security. The presidential and court officies will remain the same, but now, both the president and the Chief Justice are members of the Council of Ministers, and can oversee actions in all government departments, ministries, and subsidiaries.Most of the citizen's rights will remain the same, however. For the people of Baugnia, things are getting better by the minute.

What this means:
The new constitution, officially adopted January 16, 2008, defines the role of citizens, as well as gives them more rights. It also specifies what kind of businesses can be privately owned, and that the government has the highest authority over them, and the right to regulate them.

It also changes the ammendment process, making 3 separate offices approve an amendment before it is created, or dropped, and gives the Supreme Cout the power to bring to question any constitutional law or ammendment.
